1. You should ask for ice cream after every meal- breakfast, lunch and dinner.

2. Pink cowboy boots go with every outfit perfectly.

3. Why walk when you can RUN?

4. You should dance immediately after you wake up in the morning.

5. Hug everyone goodbye when you leave a room.

6. You should dance whenever you hear a good song, no matter where you may be at the time.

7. Say "Hi" to everyone at the grocery store, even though they may not say it back.

8. There is nothing better than reading a good book.

9. Being outside is waayyyyy better than being inside.

10. We should all take time to play in the mud, or jump in puddles. Who cares if you get messy? It's SO fun!

11. Be kind to all animals.

12. There is nothing better than laughing with your family and loved ones!

13. There is nothing a little macaroni n' cheese can't fix.

14. A nice long bath is the best way to end your day.

Happy 17 month old birthday Avery Kathryn! You have taught me so much and I thank God daily for you because you seem to put everything in perspective. We are so blessed to be able to teach each other so many things and I look forward to years and years of learning!

Little Momma

One of Avery's gifts for her birthday (back in March) was this little gift set with a stroller, high chair, and playpen. For some reason I only set up her stroller- which you may remember from a post back in April, with this picture called Monkeying Around

This past week I found the other 2 things and she has been playing with them nonstop. Its hilarious because she carries the playpen around the house saying "shhhhhhh shweeping." And then one second later she rips that baby out of the playpen and Avery will say "eeeaaat" and then throw the babydoll into the highchair and pretend to feed her. Its so adorable and she is actually really gentle with the doll.........sometimes :-)

How Times Have Changed....

Yep thats right, a new diaper bag (and a big THANK YOU to john and julie for getting it for me!)

Makes you wonder how your life changed from louis vuitton to diaper bags in what seems like such a short time-frame! Life is crazy!

Dear Grandma,

Key Largo Family Vacation

Key Largo is only a 1 hour drive from our house so we packed up on a Thursday and spent a nice long weekend there in mid-July. We stayed at the Mariott and it was so beautiful, relaxing, and low-key. It was the exact vacation we were hoping for. It was SO beautiful!

Texas Trip July 2009- Part 2

Finally here is the last of the pictures from our trip to Texas (which was a month ago). I thought I took a lot more but this is all we came home with.

We got to meet little Griffin and Parker and it was so much fun to see the babies interacting together.

We tried really hard to get a group shot but this was as good as it got!

We broke down and got a portable DVD player for the ride home and it was worth every penny to keep Avery occupied for at least a portion of the 3 hour flight!

We had a great trip and loved getting to see all our family and friends! We miss you already!
