The Winston and Burgess Halloween Over The Years

This post is mainly for me and Lisa because we wanted to get a little collage of pics of our Halloween's that we have celebrated together over the years.

The very first Halloween that we moved back was 2011 and we had Strawberry Shortcake and her strawberry, and Alice in Wonderland and her Queen of Hearts.  I remember pulling Gracyn and Ella in the wagon and watching them attempt to say "twick or tweet" when we would go up to a house.

Halloween 2012- Ella got sick this year and Eric was out of town so little rockstar Campbell went with the two Olivia's all around the Burgess neighborhood.

Halloween 2013- Walker was only 2 weeks old and Madelyn was 2 1/2 months old but Lisa and I trucked around the neighborhood like champs.  She wore Madelyn in the bjorn and Walker just slept through the entire thing and the girls went crazy running from one house to the next.

Halloween 2014- such a fun Halloween! Madelyn made it around the block before she needed to go to bed but she was one sweet little kitty this year and Walker ate sucker after sucker while the girls ran wild.

LOVE LOVE LOVE our Halloween tradition!

Halloween 2014

I don't know about you but the scariest thing about Halloween is the fact that October is over!  Eeeekkkk!

We had a great Halloween!  It fell on a Friday this year which is SO amazing to not have to worry about getting the kids off to school the next day.  We just got to party it up all day without a care in the world.  The day started with a Halloween parade and party at Gracyn's, aka SuperGirl's, school.  Daddy was home this weekend and the kids were obviously super excited for him to be able to make it to all their fun events.

I helped arrange the party for Gracyn's class this year and after all these years I've finally figured out how to keep it simple, easy and low key.  We had a little snack mix, a little pumpkin decorating, a little juice boxes and voila perfect Halloween party in the books.

Walker and Maddie got a chance to chat it up at the parade, which was surprisingly frigid!

I'm quite obviously biased but this little SuperGirl was just adorable and her face when she saw us at the parade was priceless.  She is such a little sunshine girl.

Gracyn's class with her sweet teacher Mrs. Kristen, aka the watermelon ;-)

After school we all got dressed and took pictures of our "super" family.  Gracyn was SuperGirl, Avery was Elsa, Matt was Batman, Walker was Robin and I was Wonder Woman.  The kids LOVED that we dressed up a little bit this year and it was fun to see them get so excited about it.

We continued our tradition of going to the Burgess casa for spook-ghetti and trick-or-treating  together.  It was so fun to reminisce about all the years we have been doing this together with the Burgess family.  Our kids and our families keep growing and it's so fun to do life with this amazing family.

Walker was a champ this Halloween and hung in there through the chilly temps and the hours of trick-or-treating.  I may have bribed him with a sucker (or two, or three) but he looks pretty happy don't you think?!!!

Hope everyone had a great, fun-filled Halloween!
