This is the first year where our after school activities are hectic. The first year of many, many more so we better all get used to it (you hear that Walker? Enough crying at dance practice mm kay?)
The first week of school the 1st graders sang at the PTA meeting so we all cheered on our favorite 1st grader.

Avery is fully committed as far as activities go this year. She joined the Girl Scout troop at her school and is a Daisy this year. She's only had one meeting so far but she's in a troop with all her besties so I know she will love it and you all know where to turn when cookie season comes around.

She is also playing her 3rd season with the FC Ponies. We have a new coach this year (he was the assistant coach last year) and a few new players, and the girls seem to be learning so much already! Avery's skills are progressing and it is so much fun to watch, even if it is at 7:45AM on a Saturday;-)

Avery has also started ballet this year. Not a tap/ballet combo class, this is JUST ballet. An hour and a half of ballet. This is serious business but Avery was adamant that she wanted to be a ballerina and although she has only had one class thinks that she loves it!

Gracyn is also doing dance this year and she is doing a tap/ballet combo class since this is her very first year for dance. Her class starts next week and I can't wait to see my littlest ballerina all decked out and ready to go.
Gracyn is doing amazing at school. She constantly gets compliments like she is "the best listener" and "always participates and helps out." I think her classmates are a little younger than her so she is definitely a leader and setting a good example. Way to go G!

And then there is this guy.....

The above picture is pretty much how he looks all day long. Following me around, crying and begging to be carried. I would gladly snuggle him all day if I could but unfortunately I have to make lunches/drive/eat/and sometimes even use the restroom (gasp! Such a bad mommy)

Like I said before he quite obviously has the worst case ever of separation anxiety. To be honest I don't see it getting better anytime soon. Luckily he's pretty cute.

We are blowing and going over here and can't believe it's almost October which is a big month for our two October babies! Bring on fall! We are ready for it.
